love me some movies

Is it just me or are there a lot of movies coming that have decent potential? The Wolverine movie comes out in May, Transformers 2 in June, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in July. Not to mention Angels and Demons and the second Night at the Museum looks like they have potential too. And what's the deal with all the decent movies coming out in February and March? Usually the good movies will wait until closer to the whole summer blockbuster season. But in the past few weeks I've seen Inkheart, Friday the 13th, He's Just Not That Into You, Fired Up, My Bloody Valentine 3D, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Now, none of these were profound life changing movies but they were all entertaining. The only beef I had was with the scary movies but it's the same problem I have with a lot of the more slasher flicks. Is it really necessary to show 1) boobs 2) people having sex 3) nakedness in general? You know, once any of these things happen, that person(s) will die. It's like "Bitch showed her ta-tas now she's going to die. Dumbass." But the movies coming out this summer are just the icing on the cake on what should be a great summer. I just have to get through the rest of the semester so I can enjoy the summer.

My cousin, Briana, is coming to visit me and my family next weekend and I'm really excited. She's had some issues with her major and school and stuff and I'm hoping to get her mind of things and show her around the city. She and her mom and sisters lived with us when my uncle was doing his year-long tour in South Korea. Since she was like...6 or 7 she doesn't really remember much so I'm going to try and think of some fun stuff to do. I was thinking the art gallery and the WWI museum and then maybe a little shopping (she said she needs some stuff and I need some jeans and dress pants). Plus, another cousin (on the other side of the family) has a wheelchair basketball game on Friday and I was thinking that's something she'd like. She's kind of a sporty girl.

For now, I'm going to watch me some Sweeney Todd and catch some zzz's. Gotta study for an exam tomorrow so I'll want to get to the library when it opens. Laters.
